Servicing over 500 calls a year for cruise ship customers alone at port in Jamaica, as well as an even greater number of cargo ships calling in at the island, West Indies Petroleum Limited has grown its storage and delivery presence across the island to cater to its ever increasing client base. Customers have a choice of pipe to ship, or ship to ship delivery, when berthed. Additionally, we also offer Offshore Service to ships anchored in harbour and also those located at Outer Port Limits (OPL) anchorages by choice or due to the draft of the vessel.

The island sits at the doorway of the Panama Canal - at the junction of major global trade corridors with regional trade routes, and Jamaica is poised to position itself as the fourth node in the international logistics chain, joining Rotterdam, Dubai and Singapore.

WIPL utilises a fleet of trucks, storage barges and tankers as well as ex-pipeline to deliver our range of HFO, VLSFO and Diesel, as well as marine lubricants to ships docking anywhere around the island, throughout the Caribbean and the LATAM region. West Indies Petroleum Limited operates a fleet of vessels, that vary on a strategic size, nature, capacity for it operations from time or time. The Company re-evaluates this on a periodic basis, to determine whether West Indies Petroleum Limited, leases, owns, and operates these vessels for the purposes of seamlessly transporting its products to its important customers.

Our fleet is at the core of our mission to store and provide high quality fuel and energy products and quality essential service at a consistently high standard of excellence. This ongoing re-evaluation of our fleet of vessels has allowed for the rapid expansion of both our storage capacity as well as our ability to provide products and services to the varying needs of our growing clientele across Jamaica and the region.
